Pop.Y Event Solutions is an independently owned social enterprise based in Windsor, Ontario, founded and led by Gabi Campanaro, a Brazilian immigrant and community builder. Pop.Y brings together products, corporate gifts, coffee breaks and refreshment services, workshops and community experiences. Revenue from this work helps support GROW Collective, the social impact initiative created to help immigrant women turn their skills into income.

How it started
The idea behind Pop.Y grew from Gabi's own experience as an immigrant woman in Canada. After arriving from Brazil in 2018, she spent years developing small business ideas, selling at markets and learning first-hand what it means to build new connections and start again in a new country.
Later, through her community work in Windsor, Gabi met many talented immigrant women with valuable skills and ideas. What was often missing was not ability, but access to guidance, connections, customers and real opportunities to earn income.
Pop.Y grew from those personal experiences and observations. Today, it brings together business activities that help support GROW Collective and create practical opportunities for immigrant women, local makers and small businesses in our community.
Meet the founder
Gabi Campanaro is a Brazilian immigrant, community builder and the founder of Pop.Y Event Solutions and GROW Collective. She brings more than 15 years of experience in leadership and operations, together with hands-on experience in small business, markets and community projects.
Today, her work focuses on creating programs and opportunities that help immigrant women turn their skills into income.
